The second day of the trial of a 16-year-old schoolboy charged with attempted murder is under way. The youth, who can't be named for legal reasons, is accused of stabbing a then 15-year-old girl at Thorpe St Andrew School in Norwich on March 11. Yesterday, the prosecution said he went to school that day not to learn but to kill. Christopher Paxton QC said the attack was captured by CCTV at the school, and described it as a “knife strike delivered, we say, with an intention to kill”. The prosecution is now continuing its case.
